Dr. Villa is a caring and wholehearted professional Optometrist who enjoys providing the most optimal care at a more personal level for patients of all ages. Dr. Villa completed her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in Southern CA. Her extensive clinical training emphasized in specialty contact lenses including keratoconus and Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) and the prevention of nearsightedness. Her routine eyecare visits include management of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Dr. Villa is board certified to diagnose and treat glaucoma and many other ocular pathologies. She is also an active member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr.Villa is a fluent native Spanish speaker and enjoys providing the most optimal care at a more personal level for patients of all ages.

In her spare time Dr. Villa enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Carl Hirsch has provided quality eye care to children and adults in Walnut Creek, California for thirty six years. He lectures to teachers and schools about vision related learning problems. His optometric practice, Hirsch Vision, provides quality care and a personal touch, doing whatever it takes to make patients happy.

Dr. Hirsch won the California speaker of the year award in 1981 and 1982.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, the Optometric Extension Program and the College of Optometrists in Visual Development (COVD).  Dr. Hirsch graduated from the the New England College of Optometry in 1976, followed by a year residency program in visual therapy at the State College of New York. 

Carl enjoys hiking, reading historical fiction, skiing, sailing and going to the movies. Carl has twin sons, and he is a proud grandfather.
